Wayne Barnes to referee Leinster-Racing 92 Champions Cup final

English referee Wayne Barnes will take charge of the Champions Cup final clash between Leinster and Racing 92 in Bilbao on May 12 (Live on Sky Sports Action from 4pm).

The vastly-experienced Barnes will be in the middle for a European Cup final for the second time having refereed the 2009-10 decider that saw Toulouse edge out Biarritz at the Stade de France, Paris.

Barnes' assistant referees at the San Mames Stadium will be fellow Englishmen JP Doyle and Tom Foley.

Frenchman Jerome Garces has been appointed to referee the Challenge Cup final between the Cardiff Blues and Gloucester at the same venue on May 11 (Live on Sky Sports Action from 7.30pm).

It will be the third time he has taken charge of the Challenge Cup finale and he will be assisted by Romain Poite and Pascal Gauzere.
