Defending champions Toulon have been drawn in a brutal pool with Bath, Leinster and Wasps in the 2015/16 Champions Cup.
Toulon, aiming to win the competition for the fourth straight season, will have to do it the hard way in Pool 5 just to get through to the last eight this year with Bath and Wasps fast improving and Leinster seasoned European campaigners.
Clermont Auvergne look to have the most straightforward passage to the last eight – they face Ospreys, Exeter and Bordeaux-Begles in Pool 2.
But the other four pools look up for grabs.
English champions Saracens face Ulster, Toulouse and French newcomers Oyonnax in Pool 1. Toulouse are not the force they were but Ulster will be a tough challenge and Oyonnax are a handful in France.
A mouth-watering Pool 3 sees Guinness PRO12 champions Glasgow, Aviva Premiership runners-up Northampton, French giants Racing 92 – who will have Dan Carter in their line-up – and the Scarlets.
Pool 4 sees French champions Stade Francais in a three-way scrap with Munster and Leicester, with the Italians Treviso making up the numbers.
