The Australian has put his faith in youth by making Connacht youngster Henshaw, who will start at full-back, a full international at 19, meaning he becomes the fourth teenager to play for Ireland in the professional age after Gordon D'Arcy, Luke Fitzgerald and Rhys Ruddock.
Olding has been selected at inside centre after just 15 appearances for Ulster and is just three months older than Henshaw.
Kiss has opted for Leinster fly-half Ian Madigan ahead of Ulster's Paddy Jackson, with the 24-year-old making his first start in the number 10 jersey.
There are a further three uncapped players among the replacements with forwards Mike Sherry, Jamie Hagan and Tommy O'Donnell all included.
Kiss told irishrugby.ie: "We've had a good week of preparation and the players have settled well in Houston.
"This is a young team with five players starting for the first time and we are under no illusions as to the challenge posed by an experienced and improving USA Eagles team."
The Eagles will have all their big guns in the starting line-up and coach Mike Tolkin has included Saracens' Chris Wyles at full-back, while Northampton's Samu Manoa is joined by Stade Francais' Scott Lavalla and captain Todd Clever in a formidable back-row.
Ireland: Henshaw, McFadden, Cave, Olding, Zebo, Madigan, Boss, Kilcoyne, Strauss, Ross, McCarthy, Toner, Henderson, Henry, O'Mahony.
Replacements: Sherry, Hagan, Court, Tuohy, O'Donnell, Marshall, Jackson, Jones.
