France's Julien Bonnaire has been suspended for 50 days after starting a brawl.
France and Bourgoin number eight Julien Bonnaire has been suspended for 50 days by the French Rugby Federation after being found guilty of starting a mass brawl.
Agen centre Luc Laffourge was also suspended for 70 days for his part in the incident, which took place during a match between Bourgoin and Agen on October 8.
"The sanctions will be reduced by 20 days if they agree to undertake community work," the Federation added in a statement.
Bonnaire has won 11 caps, with the 26-year-old contesting all of France's Six Nations matches last season, as well as their three Tests against South Africa and Australia.
The suspension means that Bonnaire will miss France's international against Australia on November 5 and Bourgoin's Heineken Cup pool games against Glasgow and Bath.
