Newcastle fly-half Craig Willis will appear in front of an RFU disciplinary panel on Tuesday after being charged with a tip tackle.
Willis was sent off during the second half of Saturday's Anglo-Welsh Cup clash between the Falcons on Saracens for an alleged illegal tackle on Nick Tompkins.
The 21-year-old will face a three-person panel, chaired by Anthony Davies, in Leeds on Tuesday.
If found guilty, the lower end sanction for such a tackle is four weeks, rising to a minimum of 12 weeks for a top end offence.
Newcastle are still looking for their first win in the competition after defeats by Northampton and Sarries, who ran out 29-18 winners at Allianz Park.
