Tonga international Ofa Fainga'anuku will join Worcester Warriors from Glasgow ahead of the 2013/14 Premiership campaign.
The 30-year-old prop began his career in rugby league before switching to union and played in Australia before joining Glasgow on a short-term deal in September 2012.
The deal was extended until the end of the season when Fainga'anuku impressed but the 6ft tall loosehead will be moving on next term.
Worcester head coach Richard Hill said: "We looked at a number of props and there were several looseheads in the market and available.
"However, when all the coaches sat down and looked at video, it was very clear that Ofa was the one who made us all stand up. We quickly realised there was something special about him, he has that X-Factor.
"He is a big man but moves very quickly, and he is very good in defence, which comes from his rugby league background.
"He has been to Sixways to see what we are all about and is now very keen to join us. He has been playing at a very good standard in Glasgow, with the Warriors topping the RaboDirect PRO12, and he is an international who wants to become a regular for his country.
"Ofa is an exciting signing for us and we are looking forward to him becoming a Warrior at Worcester."
Fainga'anuku added: "I've really enjoyed my time in Glasgow and I'd like to thank everyone at the club for their help and support.
"I am looking forward to being involved in the remaining games this season and contributing to what we hope will be a successful end to the campaign."
