US Eagles prop Mike MacDonald has pledged his future to Leeds despite the club's relegation to the Championship.
The veteran front-row has twice helped Leeds win promotion since joining in 2006 from Worcester.
And MacDonald, who has agreed a new two-year contract, has set his sights on leading the side up to the Premiership for a third time.
MacDonald, who has made 115 appearances for Carnegie, told the club's official site: "I am pleased to have signed a new deal with the club.
"There was disappointment at the end of last season when we were relegated and there was some uncertainty with the departure of players and staff, but having spoken to people behind the scenes and with other players who have signed I am confident that the club are heading in the right direction.

"We know it's going to be tough in The Championship, it has changed a lot since we were last in the competition.
"Not only has the structure changed with the play offs but the standard has improved also and it will be a big challenge for us, but it is one I am looking forward to.
"We have many talented young players who are looking to make the step up and I think it will be a team effort for us to help develop those players and bring them through into the first team.
"I have known Diccon Edwards personally for a number of years during my time at the club and all the reports I have heard about him as a coach are all good so I am looking forward to working with him. I think this is the start of a new era for the club and I am excited to be part of it."
