There are also returns for Matt Smith and Steve Mafi, who have been included amongst the replacements.
Kitchener sat out last week's defeat at Wasps, while Hamilton and Mafi have not played since the Round Two trip to Bath. Smith has recovered from a broken thumb and joins the matchday squad for the first time this season.
Kitchener's return means a move into the back row for Ed Slater, with Jordan Crane recalled at number eight.
The Tigers are also missing a number of players to injury and international call ups.
Meanwhile, Tim Molenaar will make his first team debut for Harlequins following his move from Gloucester earlier this week. He partners Matt Hopper in the centres.
Nick Evans moves to full-back in the absence of Tom Williams, who misses out through injury, with Ben Botica starting at fly-half.
On the bench, Charlie Matthews is named for the first time this season having returned from injury. He replaces George Merrick. Prop Nic Mayhew replaces Kyle Sinckler.
Gloucester v Wasps
Flanker Andy Hazell will make his first start of the season for Gloucester in their clash with Wasps at Kingsholm on Saturday.
The return of Gloucester's longest serving current player is one of seven changes that director of rugby Nigel Davies makes to his starting line-up from the side that took the field at Bath last weekend.
Yann Thomas, Huia Edmonds and Shaun Knight make up a new front row, while Will James comes in to partner James Hudson in the second row.
Behind the scrum, Dan Robson gets the nod at scrum-half, and Henry Trinder's release from England duty enables him to line up alongside Ryan Mills in the Gloucester midfield.
Meanwhile, London Wasps boss Dai Young has made three changes to his run-on side.
Nathan Hughes and Charlie Hayter take the spots of Ed Jackson and Ben Jacobs, while James Haskell makes his first start of the season, taking the number seven shirt as Guy Thompson shifts to the bench.
