Lions stand-off suspended after high tackle

Lions fly-half Butch James has been given a four-week ban for a high tackle on Sharks flanker Keegan Daniel. The former Bath fly-half kicked 15 points in a 30-30 draw in Johannesburg last Saturday but was sin-binned in the second half for the high tackle. Super Rugby governing body SANZAR say the suspension will start on June 20 due to the Lions having a bye week in this weekend's final round of matches. The ban does not extend into the Tri-Nations, however, meaning he will be available for the first match of the Springboks' opening match against Australia on July 23. James is just five games into his southern hemisphere return after spending the last four years playing in the Aviva Premiership.
