South African prop Wicus Blaauw has agreed a 12-month contract with Biarritz.
Season-long switch for 26-year-old prop
South African prop Wicus Blaauw has agreed a 12-month contract with Biarritz.
The 26-year-old will team up with the Top 14 outfit from the Stormers, with Blaauw having also appeared in the Currie Cup and Vodafone Cup for Western Province.
Blaauw is the third prop to join the Amlin Challenge Cup champions, with Thomas Synaeghel (Dax) and Ben Broster (Wasps) having also arrived in the close season.
The trio will off-set the loss of Sylvain Marconnet (retired) and Yvan Watremez (Toulon).
