Scotland prop Darryl Marfo has signed a new deal which will keep him at Edinburgh until the end of the 2020 season.

The 27-year-old, who signed last summer from Bath, made a bright start to life in Scotland and claimed his first cap when called up by Gregor Townsend for the autumn internationals last October.

Marfo has been unavailable to Townsend for the Six Nations so far because of a back injury, but Edinburgh expect him back in action soon.

"I'm extremely happy and proud to have re-signed with Edinburgh, at a time when the club is heading in a very positive direction," he said.

"The team's success is spearheaded by an excellent management group and I'm looking forward to contributing to help make the club as successful as possible."
