Munster have confirmed Anthony Foley will stay on as head coach in a diminished role.
New director of rugby Rassie Erasmus will take on all team performance and on-field coaching responsibilities, while Foley will be in charge of directing Munster's lineouts and breakdowns.
The arrival of South African Erasmus in April has sparked a summer clear-out at Munster with assistant coach Brian Walsh joining Ian Costello and Mick O'Driscoll on the departure list.
As expected, Erasmus' former colleague and long-term friend Jacques Nienaber comes on board as defence coach and has signed a three-year deal with the province.
In a seven-year coaching career, Nienaber has spent time with Super Rugby's Cheetahs and will arrive at the club once his contract with the South Africa squad expires on July 1, subject to a work permit.
Nienaber is currently the Springboks' high-performance manager and will come up against his future players this weekend as Ireland begin their three-Test tour against the South Africans in Cape Town on Saturday.
Scrum coach Jerry Flannery is to remain in his post for a further year, while former player Felix Jones has been given a one-year deal in a technical coaching role.
Jones was forced to retire from rugby last October, but will bring a wealth of experience to Munster as a former Ireland international and will focus on improving the side's attacking skills.
Munster chief executive Garrett Fitzgerald revealed the club's excitement at finally confirming the coaching staff for the upcoming season.
"We are delighted to finalise our coaching requirements for next season and look forward to welcoming Jacques and Felix to the set-up," said Fitzgerald.
"Jacques is a highly-rated and sought-after coach who brings a wealth of experience with him after working across all levels of the game. We believe he will be a great addition to the coaching staff.
"While Felix, who had a hugely successful playing career with both Munster and Ireland, will provide invaluable technical know-how in aiding the development of our young squad."
