The Ospreys tighthead is having trouble shaking off a knee injury and is doubtful for at least the first of the November games against Argentina.
Wales interim head coach Rob Howley included Jones in his 35-man squad for the fixtures against the Pumas, Samoa, New Zealand and Australia.
However, with concerns over the health of the British and Irish Lion, Scarlets prop Samson Lee has been called up to train with the squad in Poland.
Jones will still be part of the travelling party to Spala, where Wales also prepared for last year's World Cup in New Zealand.
Howley said: "In order to get the best out of Spala, it is important for us that the squad is able to work at an optimum level.
"Samson has been called in as a precaution to train with the squad, as cover for Adam and to ensure that the squad can get through the work it needs to over the seven or eight days we are away in order to maximise our gain from the camp."
Aaron Jarvis was the only uncapped player in the initial party, the front rower having impressed for the Ospreys while Jones has found his game time limited due to his knee problem.
"Adam (Jones) has been great to me, he is easy to talk to and willing to help and he has helped with my development a lot and it has made me a better player to be around him," the Exeter-born forward said.
