Delve and Cuthbert set to join star-studded squad

Melbourne Rebels vice-captain Gareth Delve and Cardiff Blues winger Alex Cuthbert are set to join big-spending Toulon. Delve has been a revelation at the Rebels with his barn-storming displays - with the Wales international becoming the first overseas player to skipper an Australian Super Rugby side. However after two years at the club, Delve looks to have accepted an offer to move to Toulon. Delve is set to be joined at the ambitious outfit by fellow countryman Cuthbert - with reports in France claiming the talented winger has finally been lured away from Cardiff. France internationals Maxime Mermoz (Perpignan), Nicolas Durand (Racing Metro) and Frederic Michalak (Sharks) will also join the star-studded line-up, along with New Zelander Chris Masoe (Castres) and Philippe Genevois (Biarritz). The signings of London Irish trio Delon Armitage, Guy Armitage and Nick Kennedy and Sale prop Andrew Sheridan had already been announced. Joe El Abd and Kris Chesney head the Toulon departures after opting to join Oyonnax, while Christophe Samson (Castres), Gabirele Lovobavalu (Bayonne), Julien Dumora (Lyon), Fabien Cybray (Lyon), Eifion Lewis-Roberts (Sale) and Dean Schofield (Worcester) will all head to new pastures.
