Will Chudley could miss the Aviva Premiership final after being cited for foul play during Exeter's win over Wasps on Saturday.
The Chiefs scrum-half will face a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel on Tuesday charged with kicking Wasps and England lock Joe Launchbury.
Chudley has been charged with an offence contrary to law 10.4(c) and his case will be heard in Bristol on Tuesday evening, with a three-person panel being chaired by Daniel White.
The lower end sanction for such an offence is four weeks, rising to a minimum of 12 weeks for a more serious incident.
Exeter beat Wasps 34-23 and will face regular season champions Saracens at Twickenham on Saturday in the play-off final.
