Skipper Narraway ruled out of rest of Churchill Cup

England Saxons captain Luke Narraway will miss the rest of his side's Churchill Cup campaign with a back injury. The Gloucester No. 8 was absent from the Saxons' 87-8 victory over the USA on Saturday after complaining of soreness in his lower back. Narraway is still being bothered by the problem and has had to return to his club for treatment, meaning he will be sidelined for Sunday's clash with Tonga and finals day on June 18. Saxons head coach Stuart Lancaster has confirmed that fellow No. 8 Jordan Crane will continue to captain the side in Narraway's absence. "Although the problem should settle down pretty quickly, Luke's not going to be available for the next two games," Lancaster said. "It's a shame to lose him as he's an important part of our squad and has been in good form. But we're confident we've got a good replacement in Jordan Crane, who led the side well against the USA."
