Sale director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre has made five changes to the Sharks line-up ahead of their home match against Saracens.
Despite the team experiencing their first-ever win at Newcastle in the season opener, Saint Andre has opted to alter the first XI before taking on a tough Saracen side.
After missing out on a place in the Newcastle game, wing Rory Lamont, hooker Sebastien Bruno, prop Andrew Sheridan, scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth and lock Brent Cockbain will all feature in the squad.
Saint Andre said: "We started well with a victory at Newcastle but tomorrow evening's game against Saracens will be very tough.
"We want to return to winning ways at Edgeley Park after the London Irish defeat in May."
Changes
Meanwhile, Saracens boss Eddie Jones has also made five changes to his side ready for the trip to Edgeley Park.
Flanker Dave Seymour is out of action for 6-8 weeks with knee ligament damage and winger Francisco Leonelli is also sidelined with an injury.
Jones has picked Andy Saull to replace Seymour, with Italian internationals Matias Ageuro and Fabio Ongaro given a chance in the front row.
Full-back Richard Haughton will return to his position after recovering from a hip injury.
Jones said: "We've made a few changes and this is a good opportunity for the guys coming into the side.
"Injuries have forced us into bringing in a couple of new faces and we've also decided to give Fabio Ongaro and Matias Aguero a run out.
"It's also good to have Richard Haughton back in the side. He had a very good season last year and proved himself to be one of the top performers in the competition and we're looking for him to continue that this season."
