80 The hooter sounds and that signals joyous scenes for the Rhinos. It was simmering towards the end but Leeds hold on, pretty easily, to secure a third Grand Final win in three years. They deserve it, and Lee Smith leaves the Rhinos with a two-try display before he switches codes. One was a gift, one was controversial and they were the difference in the end as Leeds win 18-10. A sensational game.
79 GOAL! BURROW! The little scrum-half makes sure with a drop goal from 30 metres. Leeds have won the Grand Final.
77 Saints attempt a chip over the top from Eastmond but Donald nicks it and that should be it. A fresh set for Leeds and they're on halfway.
76 Ryan Hall collects a Long kick and runs it back into teh Saints half. Up your jumper stuff from the Rhinos in this set.
74 GOAL! SINFIELD! Sinfield slots over the extras and the Rhinos lead by seven with six minutes to go. Only a famous Saints comeback will deny them a third title in a row.
73 TRY! SMITH! Video ref Phil Bentham gives it! Smith looked a shade off to me, but the referee has given benefit of doubt to the attacker and Leeds look to have won it now.
73 Another huge video ref call! Lee Smith is over but is he offside?
72 Leeds building pressure... Diskin is held up over the line.
70 McGuire with a great kick and Smith pressurises Wellens. The chase pays off as Meli knocks on 10 metres out. Leeds scrum.
69 Massive video ref call. Eastmond just misses the whitewash and touches down - but not before Sinfield denies him with a last-ditch tackle. The replay shows Eastmond hits the corner flag and that's a 20 metre restart for Leeds.
68 Mistake from Luke Burgess who knocks on in his own half and this is a massive chance for St Helens. Will they go for the one-pointer?
67 Leeds are happy to let a Sean Long kick run through and that's a 20 metre restart for the Rhinos.
65 GOAL! SINFIELD! No mistakes from Sinfield who bangs it over from right in front. One point could well settle this and Leeds have their noses in front.
64 Cunningham interferes at the play the ball right in front of the posts and Leuluai waves his arms in frustration. Penalty for Leeds, right in front.
63 Great kick from Sinfield after Leeds couldn't make too many yards from their set. The Rhinos get reward for a decent chase as they force a mistake from Saints. Leeds scrum, great chance.
61 Saints go high again but that's easy for Webb and the tactic might have run it's course. McGuire kicks on the fifth from inside his own half as Leeds try to improve their field position.
60 GOAL! EASTMOND! Eastmond slots over the two points and Saints lead 10-9. It's going to be tense!
58 Burrow is penalised for a high shot on Long. Oh the irony. Looks like Saints will take the two here.
57 Meli almost barges his way over but Leeds stand firm. McGuire then pounces on a stabbed kick from Long.
56 There's been a few poor play the ball attempts from Leeds tonight and Webb is guilty of another. Saints scrum.
55 Meli deals with a chip over the top from Sinfield under pressure from Donald. Eastmond with a risky pass to Wellens near his own try-line.
54 A chip from Long is collected by Hall and then the Saints are caught offside.
53 A sloppy play the ball from Jones-Buchanan is penalised. The big man was sulking there after not getting the penalty. Chance for Saints to build some pressure.
52 A hurried kick from Pryce is collected by Webb who sets Leeds on their way.
51 Superb defensive set from Leeds thanks to some ferocious tackling. A decent kick from Long saves the set from Saints' point of view but Leeds are in the driving seat now.
50 McGuire fires a missile of a kick towards Gardner who does well to take the ball and feed Wellens quickly.
49 Long's kick is too long, and Leeds have the 20 metre restart.
48 Burrow kicks along the ground to Wellens and that's a good chase from the Rhinos.
47 A poor pass from Roby when Saints were in full flow and Fa'asavalu can only knock it on. Leeds head and feed at the scrum.
46 It's a penalty to Saints for Webb's use of the knees in the tackle. Fair enough.
45 Gardner is almost in at the corner but Ryan Hall and a shambolic attempt at a tackle from Webb forces the Saints winger out.
44 It's touch and go whether Lauitiiti gets any more game time. His ankle is strapped with ice after a team-mate stood on it in the first half. Massive blow for Leeds.
43 Senior hauls down Wellens on half way. Long, predictably, launches a high ball at Webb, but that's easy for the Leeds full-back.
42 GOAL! SINFIELD! The Leeds skipper drops one over from 10 metres out early in the second half. Bit of a surprise that. 9-8.
41 Sinfield gets the second period under way and it's a dream start for the Rhinos as Gardner allows the ball to bounce out of play. Leeds possession 20 metres out.
40 A chip over the top from Smith surprises everyone on the hooter but Saints get men around the ball and that's it for the first 40. 8-8 at the break - join us for the second half!
39 Long pokes a kick towards the Leeds corner but that's too strong and Leeds have the scrum 30 seconds from half-time.
38 Sinfield misses with his second attempt at goal. Despite him leaving his kicking boots in the dressing room, and Saints dominating the first 40, Leeds are level at 8-8.
37 TRY! SMITH! Another gift, this time for Smith who takes advantage of an appalling error from Meli. McGuire kicks through and Meli just can't deal with it, allowing Smith to score the four-pointer.
36 It doesn't look good for Lauitiiti who hobbles off. Maurie Fa'asavalu tries to offload in a silly area and that's a gift for Hall.
35 Burrow's kick dribbles out of play and Saints restart from 20 metres.
34 Sloppy play from Senior and Hall gift Saints possession, but Meli knocks on during the fourth tackle and Leeds have a scrum just over their 10 metre line.
33 A half break from James Roby in a decent Saints set and they opt for another high kick. Webb does well before Wellens dives over him in a comical attempt at a tackle.
32 Bailey makes ground on his knees with three Saints tacklers hanging off him. Decent set from Leeds and they have the better field position now.
31 Great work from Sinfield in the run up to the try but he can only hit the post when going for the extras.
30 TRY! MATT DISKIN! Outstanding stuff from the Leeds hooker who forces his way over from two yards out despite the attentions of four Saints tacklers. Easy for the video ref that one.
28 Another relieving penalty for Leeds as Eastmond is penalised for holding down.
27 Saints kick on the fourth tacke again and their tactic is clear. Long and Wilkin have kicked very well and that's the difference between the sides at present.
26 GOAL! EASTMOND! No problems for Eastmond who slots over the two points. 8-0 Saints.
25 Another bomb from Wilkin causes Leeds trouble and the Rhinos just aren't deal with the high ball. It's a Saints penalty as Keith Senior hampers Flannery in the air. Saints will attempt to take the two.
24 Jones-Buchanan almost flops over the try line but St Helens hold firm. Ryan Bailey does touch the ball down but Webb is penalised for taking out Sean Long in the air. Saints penalty.
23 Tremendous kick from Sinfield and that's a 40-20. Brilliant stuff from the Leeds skipper and that could lift his team.
22 Leeds scrum 10 metres from their own line. St Helens continue to dominate field position thanks to Sean Long's boot.
21 Burrow with a kick to the right-wing and that's a beauty. Francis Meli does well under pressure from Donald and comes away with the ball.
20 Penalty for Leeds after Cunningham intereferes at the play the ball. Chance for Leeds.
19 Wilkin launches another bomb and Donald lets that one bounce out of play. 20 metre tap kick for Leeds.
17 Long kicks on the fourth tackle for what could be the fifth time and that's a Leeds scrum on the 10 metre line.
16 Webb collects a kick from Long and begins an important set of six for Leeds.
15 GOAL! EASTMOND! The young centre has an easy kick to make it 6-0 to Saints after 15 minutes.
14 TRY! KYLE EASTMOND! Wilkin's kick through deflects off Kevin Sinfield and Scott Donald is weak in his attempt to steal the ball. Eastmond might've knocked on, but the video ref sees no infringement and the youngster's stroll behind the sticks is legal. 4-0 Saints.
13 Poor kick from Burrow who does't make Wellens move a yard.
12 McGuire keeps a cool head and allows a Sean Long kick to run dead under pressure from a diving Keiron Cunningham.
11 Nice play from Saints and Flannery catches a bomb from Long. Gardner tries to chase his own kick and forces Webb to concede a goal-line dropout.
9 Leeds look dangerous with ball in hand but McGuire's short pass to Smith is knocked on by the departing centre. Well, he's playing centre today anyway, although you might remember he won Man Of The Match from full-back this time last year.
8 Leon Pryce steps around Lee Smith but McGuire brings him down and Saints are pegged back in their own half. Jon Wilkin kicks out on the full to jeers from the Rhinos fans.
7 Brilliant break from Webb but he sprays a forward pass when looking for Ryan Hall on the wing. A let off for St Helens there.
6 Relief for Leeds as they get a penalty after interference at the play the ball. Chance for the Rhinos to build some pressure.
5 Saints have the edge regarding field position following that early penalty. Long makes Webb work again with a decent kick.
4 Long with a little chip in the following set but that's much easier for Webb. Leeds begin to work their way towards the halfway line.
3 Saints get a sniff of the Leeds line following the penalty and Sean Long launches a bomb. Webb's underneath it and he takes it well under pressure from Chris Flannery.
2 Brent Webb with a high tackle on Ade Gardner! That was Leeds' first tackle and Saints have a penalty.
1 We're under way. Paul Wellens kicks off and Danny McGuire catches that one. Leeds begin their first set of six.
Pre-Match Smoke covers Old Trafford. The players are out on the pitch. Steve Ganson is in charge and they're about to kick-off...
Pre-Match The teams are in the tunnel as I type. 'All Angels' belt out Jerusalem.
Betting Hmm, with no rain about mistakes should be minimal. I'm predicting free-flowing rugby league and plenty of tries. I can't get away from Leeds (-6) at odds-against with Sky Bet - expect the likes of Danny McGuire, Brent Webb and Rob Burrow to step up to the plate here. It could be a bit of an arm wrestle early on, though, and Jamie Jones-Buchanan might not be a bad bet at 25s for the first try.
Pre-Match Weather update from my mole at Old Trafford: Apparently it's 'dry and not windy or anything yet.' Oh, and The Wombats have just gone off.
Pre-Match And here's how St Helens line up: Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Eastmond, Meli, Pryce, Long, Graham, Cunningham, Puletua, Flannery, Wilkin, Gilmour. Replacements: Hargreaves, Fa'asavalu, Roby, Clough.
Pre-Match First up, here's the Leeds team: Webb, Donald, Smith, Senior, Hall, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Diskin, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Sinfield. Replacements: Lauitiiti, Bailey, Kirke, Burgess.
