Gareth O'Brien: Recalled by the Wolves from his loan spell at Castleford Tigers
Alan Hunte: Has drafted prop Adam Neal into his 19-man squad for Friday night
Salford will be hoping for a repeat of their last home game against Warrington when the two sides meet on Friday night.
The City Reds pulled off a major upset in 2012 when they recorded a 48-24 triumph over the Wolves at the Salford City Stadium.
If they manage to do the same again this season then Warrington will have lost three Super League games in a row, their worst run for four years.
The hosts got into the contest off the back of a 23-23 draw away at Wakefield in the first game under the stewardship of interim head coach Alan Hunte, who took over following the sacking of Phil Veivers.
Shannon McPherson is ruled out for Salford with a knee injury, so Hunte drafts in prop Adam Neal to his 19-man squad.
As for Warrington, Ben Harrison, who is still recovering from a hernia operation, and fellow forward Trent Waterhouse have both been ruled out.
Coach Tony Smith has recalled half-back Gareth O'Brien from a loan spell at Castleford Tigers in the continued absence of Lee Briers with a neck injury.
Despite the Wolves losing to Hull KR and St Helens in their last two outings, Hunte knows his side will be up against it when they face last year's beaten Grand Finalists.
"Defensively we were better (against Wakefield) but there are still improvements to be made there and we are under no illusions that Warrington are going to test that," the former Great Britain international said.
"We can also be a lot smarter with the ball. We headed in the right direction last week and our job is to try to keep on that path."
Salford: Murphy, Broughton, Gibson, Gleeson, Griffin, Fages, Sneyd, Jewitt, Godwin, Mauro, Ashurst, Dixon, Wild, Howarth, Foran, Boyle, James, Neal, Owen
Warrington: Atkins, Bridge, Carvell, Cooper, Currie, Grix, Higham, Hill, Hodgson, Laithwaite, McCarthy, J. Monaghan, M. Monaghan, Myler, O'Brien, Ratchford, Riley, Westwood, Wood
"We're concentrating on what we need to do and the areas we need to work on to try and find some consistency of form ourselves."
