Salford interim coach Alan Hunte will be hoping his side can build on last week's encouraging performance against St Helens as they prepare to face table-toppers Huddersfield.

The Reds gave Saints a real scare before succumbing to a narrow 14-10 loss at Langtree Park last Friday to give themselves renewed belief heading into the Easter double-header.

Hunte has handed a first senior call-up to centre Edwin Okanga-Ajwang, and the youngster will be vying with Nial Evalds to take the place of injured winger Danny Williams.

Mullally returns

Huddersfield coach Paul Anderson will be hoping for a positive response from his troops after their resounding 28-2 reversal at Warrington last time out.

Having been recalled from his loan spell at Batley, prop Anthony Mullally gets a spot in Anderson's party in place of the rested Larne Patrick.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old back-rower Peter Aspinall is named in the senior squad for the first time this season.

Salford 19-man squad: Broughton, Gibson, Howarth, Foran, Ashurst, Dixon, Wild, Godwin, Nero, Boyle, James, Neal, Fages, Sneyd, Owen, Evalds, Griffin, Murphy, Okanga-Ajwang
