Salford City Reds and the Bradford Bulls will be eager to return to winning ways after being dumped out of the Challenge Cup last weekend when they meet on Friday.
The City Reds, who will be known as the Red Devils from the 2014 season, were crushed 52-6 at Warrington while the Bulls were upset by the London Broncos 25-16 at the Twickenham Stoop.
Brian Noble's Salford remain bottom of the Super League table, although they are level with the likes of Castleford Tigers and the Broncos with seven points.
Bradford sit seventh in the standings following a bright start to the new campaign under new head coach Francis Cummins before injuries took their toll on the Odsal outfit.
Salford have a new-look coaching staff in place to assist Noble for the match with former Hull FC man Andy Hay and ex-Castleford Tigers assistant Stuart Donlan joining.
Noble will be without Jordan James after he picked up a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Warrington's Brett Hodgson in last weekend's cup defeat. The City Reds will also still be without injured props Shannan McPherson and Lee Jewitt.
Noble is reading very little into the Bulls' recent poor form, telling the Telegraph and Argus: "I understand Bradford's recent form hasn't been the best but they have shown glimpses of how good they can be all year.
"Nick Scruton is back playing regularly and going really well. If you leave Luke Gale and Jarrod Sammut alone they will break the game open and I'm a big fan of their back-rowers too.
"Bradford have got all the credentials and will be disappointed with what they've dished up in the last few weeks. They will see Salford as an opportunity to put that right."
The Bulls are boosted by the news back-rower James Donaldson is fit to line up against Salford after being knocked out clean by London Antonio Kaufusi, a tackle which saw the Broncos man handed a two-game ban.
Jacob Fairbank, nephew of the legendary Bradford Northern prop Karl Fairbank, could make an immediate debut for the Bulls after being signed on a month's loan from the Huddersfield Giants.
Salford City Reds: Broughton, Gibson, Gleeson, Gaskell, Foran, Ashurst, Dixon, Wild, Godwin, Nero, Mauro, Neal, Fages, Sneyd, McGoldrick, Evalds, Griffin, A. Walne, Emmitt.
Bradford Bulls: Donaldson, Sidlow, Olbison, Platt, Gale, Kear, Scruton, Bateman, L'Estrange, Purtell, Lulia, Whitehead, Diskin, Sammut, Addy, Langley, Walker, Blythe, Evans.
