Huddersfield Giants will look to get their Old Trafford quest back on track on Thursday when they host Hull FC, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.

The Giants, who claimed the League Leaders' Shield for the first time in Super League this season, surrendered home advantage following last Thursday's defeat to Wigan.

Hull FC finished sixth in the standings and overcome the Catalan Dragons last week with a 14-4 success over the French club at the KC Stadium.

The Giants did the double over the club from East Yorkshire during the regular season with a 24-10 win at home and a 22-16 triumph on the road.

The Giants are at full strength, with forward Ukuma Ta'ai back in contention after recovering from a badly-split lip that forced him to miss the defeat by Wigan.

"We're not panicking," Giants forward Jason Chan said. "The Wigan game was disappointing because we know we are capable of better.

Talent

"We've got the talent and all the ethics to come out and never lose a game all season but it just didn't work out last week.

"We've gone over everything and changed a couple of things. I'm glad it's happened now rather than further down the track. The journey's not finished. I'm looking forward to Thursday."

Hull have prop Andy Lynch back after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in the Challenge Cup final. That is the only change to the side that beat the Dragons.

Hull captain Gareth Ellis knows his team-mates have it all to do on Thursday night, however, he sees no reason why Peter Gentle's squad cannot cause an upset.

"The reality is sixth was probably where we deserved to finish on the table after some of our ups and downs this season but we're confident now, having proven that we can beat the top teams, that we can do something in these play-offs," Ellis said.

"While we won't be the first team to win from outside the top four, we could be the first to win from sixth.

"It's a huge challenge for us but that type of rugby has probably brought the best out of us this season so hopefully it can again."

Huddersfield Giants: Grix, Cudjoe, Wardle, McGillvary, Brough, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Kopczak, Ferres, Faiumu, Lawrence, Patrick, Chan, Ta'ai, Murphy, Ferguson, Blackmore, Wood.

Hull FC: Bowden, T. Briscoe, Crookes, Ellis, Green, Heremaia, Holdsworth, Horne, Houghton, Johnson, Lynch, Miller, Pitts, Shaul, Tickle, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.
