Two teams who suffered Tetley's Challenge Cup disappointment last week meet on Thursday as Hull FC tackle Huddersfield Giants at the KC Stadium.
The Black and Whites were taken to extra-time by Salford Red Devils, who then secured their place in the fifth round of the cup courtesy of Rangi Chase's drop-goal.
The Giants were dumped out in controversial circumstances as Danny Brough's drop-goal was disallowed only for Luke Walsh to slot home a late one-pointer to give St Helens the win at John Smith's Stadium.
The teams are locked on six points seven games into the new campaign. Hull's last league game saw them see off Salford 30-8 while the Giants' second-half capitulation meant a 33-14 home defeat to Warrington Wolves.
The home side are boosted by the return of captain Gareth Ellis, who missed the club's recent games against the Red Devils with a two-match ban.
There are no places for Ben Crooks or Richard Horne. Experienced campaigner Horne missed last Thursday's golden point defeat through injury.
Head coach Lee Radford has decisions to make as he is without two of his three centres against Giants in Crooks and Joe Arundel, while Jay Pitts also drops out.
Garreth Carvell is again named in the 19-man squad, but it remains to be seen whether he will feature.
Huddersfield boss Paul Anderson will be forced into one change for the team which lost to Saints in heart-breaking fashion, with Brett Ferres suspended for the game.
The England international was sent off with 15 minutes remaining in Sunday's game for a dangerous throw on Jonny Lomax which resulted in a red card.
The Giants also remain without England centre Leroy Cudjoe due to an ankle injury, although they did welcome back fit-again star hooker Shaun Lunt for the visit of Saints.
Hull FC: Bowden, Carvell, Colbon, Ellis, Hadley, Heremaia, Houghton, Miller, Paea, Paleaaesina, Rankin, Shaul, Talanoa, Thompson, Tuson, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.
Huddersfield Giants: Grix, McGillvary, Wardle, Murphy, Brough, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Kopczak, Ferres, Chan, Bailey, Lawrence, Ta'ai, Wood, Broughton, Kaufusi, Johnson, Connor.
Watch Hull take on Huddersfield live on Sky Sports 1 at 8pm on Thursday.
