Lee Mossop: missing for the Wigan Warriors due to injury
Rangi Chase: returns for Castleford following a two-match ban
Castleford Tigers will be targeting another scalp on home soil when they go head-to-head with the third-placed Wigan Warriors.
While Ian Millward's men are pointless away from the Wish Communications Stadium they followed up their victory against the Leeds Rhinos with a point against the Catalan Dragons last week.
Wigan returned to winning ways last weekend with a comfortable 48-18 success over the lowly London Broncos at the DW Stadium.
The Warriors ran out convincing winners over the Tigers last season, securing a 40-16 home win while also claiming a 46-4 triumph in West Yorkshire.
Castleford are boosted by the return from suspension of stand-off Rangi Chase, with temporary replacement Gareth O'Brien dropping out of Millward's squad.
Prop forward Jacob Emmitt makes his first appearance of the season in place of Jonathan Walker.
Wigan are likely to recall prop Scott Taylor in place of Lee Mossop, who is out for up to 12 weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
Wales international second-rower Rhodri Lloyd is hoping to make his first appearance of the season.
Castleford Tigers: Owen, Carney, Shenton, Webster, Dixon, Chase, Ellis, Clark, Huby, Gilmour, Hauraki, Millington, Emmitt, Milner, Massey, Holmes, Thompson, Tansey, Mason.
Wigan Warriors: Burke, Charnley, Crosby, Dudson, Farrell, Flower, Green, Hughes, McIlorum, O'Loughlin, Powell, Richards, Smith, Lloyd, Taylor, Thornley, L. Tomkins, S. Tomkins, Tuson.
"Rangi Chase is a world class player who in the last two games would have turned maybe defeat or draw into victory," he told the Castleford and Pontefract Express.
"It was tough for him to miss the games. He has probably been our best trainer and he's so skilful. Against Leeds he was instrumental in two tries and he started the season well.
"I am not being detrimental to anyone, but Rangi would have made a difference and he'll make a difference against Wigan. He will definitely come back into the team."
"We've got a good culture here now. One goes out, another comes in and he knows exactly what he needs to do," he told the club's official website.
"We're a bit short of bodies now, it's unfortunate for Lee and the other boys who are out, but it gives these guys an opportunity to get some games under their belt.
"We're going to need them. It's good we've got so many youngsters we can throw in there. It's exciting for the future of the club."
