Berrigan: back
Two of Hull's most influential players, Shaun Berrigan and Danny Washbrook, return to action for Sunday's Super League visit of Castleford.
Both players missed last week's battling defeat at Leeds, with former Australian Test hooker Berrigan resting due to various knocks picked up against St Helens the previous week.
Meanwhile, Washbrook missed out after picking up a hamstring injury in training immediately ahead of last Friday's match at Headingley.
A leg injury is likely to keep Gareth Raynor out for another couple of weeks so A-Level student Tom Briscoe will continue.
Speaking of the return of Berrigan and Washbrook, coach Richard Agar told the club's website: "I think it gives us a hand in the middle of the park, direction wise.
"It also unburdens Adam Dykes as the sole director and offers us a couple more vital options with the ball.
"At the end of the day they are both quality players and any side would miss not having them out on the field.
"It is important for us to have them back for this game and I am sure we will benefit from their presence and skills on the field."
Meanwhile, Castleford's Awen Guttenbeil is ruled out of the match because of a calf injury.
However, Brent Sherwin is set to return after a three-game absence with a knee injury.
The club have also succeeded in acquiring a work permit for Mitchell Sargent and the Australian prop could make his debut against Wigan on June 22nd.
Hull: TBA
Castleford: Dorn, Donlan, Shenton, Dixon, Wainwright, Sherwin, Henderson, Korkidas, Clayton, Westerman, Higgins, Huby, Lupton, Boyle, Moore, Owen, McGoldrick, Hlad, Catic.
