Manu: Returns from injury
Second rower Willie Manu and centre Graeme Horne have returned to Hull's squad for the Friday night clash against Salford City Reds at the KC Stadium.
The pair are back after missing the last four games through injury, meaning youngsters Dominic Maloney and Josh Hodgson drop out of coach Richard Agar's 19-man squad.
Manu is back after damaging ankle ligaments in Hull's 24-16 win over Castleford Tigers at the start of May, while Horne had a plaster removed last week on a damaged thumb.
Veteran Australian forward Peter Cusack received a new contract for 2010 this week but is currently sidelined with a wrist injury.
Agar's side will be looking for a return to winning ways after losing the last four Super League fixtures.
A narrow 18-16 defeat at home to Warrington was followed by big losses to Leeds and St Helens and then last weekend's 37-22 reverse at Wakefield.
Youngsters Adam Sidlow and Jason Walton have been called into the Salford City Reds squad as replacements for centre Willie Talau (scaphoid) and second rower Rob Parker (fractured skull).
Parker had started 13 Super League games alongside Luke Adamson this season, making them the competition's most regular second row pairing.
Coach Shaun McRae told the club's official website: "One of our major strengths this season has been the work rate our of backrow of Adamson, Parker and Swain.
"Fortunately, the next in line - Ian Sibbit - has that same work-rate so we won't lose too much structure but when you are missing a player of Rob Parker's great experience it is obviously going to have an effect."
Meanwhile, Robbie Paul returns to the ranks after a neck injury in place of Andrew Thornley and McRae will make a decision on playing the veteran closer to kick-off.
The coach heads back to his former club knowing it will be a tough challenge.
McRae said: "We've had two very tight encounters this season with one win each.
"Hull have got an array of players capable of ripping you to pieces when they are on form but like any team, when your confidence has gone it's pretty difficult to get it back.
"They played particularly well last weekend against Wakefield once the game had gone and they will take some heart from that."
Hull 19-man squad: Berrigan, Broughton, Burnett, Dowes, , Houghton, G Horne, R Horne, King, Lee, Manu, Moa, Radford, Raynor, Tony, Thackray, Tickle, Thorman, Whiting, Yeaman.
Salford 19-man squad: Wilshere, Goulding, Henry, Smith, Myler, Sibbit, Cashmere, Alker, Stapleton, Swain, Turner, Littler, Leuluai, Paul, Ratchford, Adamson, Jewitt, Walton, Sidlow.
