Sherwin: back after long lay-off
Castleford are boosted by the return of scrum-half Brent Sherwin for Sunday's visit of the Wigan Warriors.
Sherwin has missed his side's last 11 games with a foot injury, but has now returned to full fitness.
Also available for selection once again are full-back Richard Owen and winger Kirk Dixon, who missed last Friday's mauling at Leeds.
That means coach Terry Matterson has a full-strength squad to choose from as he looks to break a two-game losing streak in Super League.
"We've got two or three people back from injury and they'll go into the side," said Matterson. "But we need the other 14 to turn up as well.
"There will be two or three people that don't get the opportunity to atone for last week. There are quite a few people who are very lucky."
Wigan are poised to recall Michael McIlorum with the hooker having recovered from a knee ligament injury he picked up against Harlequins in early July.
McIlorum will replace the injured Liam Farrell - who was ruled out for the season with a broken foot earlier in the week - in what is likely to be the only change to the side which beat Warrington.
Warriors can clinch a place in the play-offs with a win but coach Brian Noble is taking nothing for granted.
"Certainly we think we have a chance in this competition," he said. "Belief is there to go all the way.
"It will be tough this week. Cas were thumped last week and that brings the best out of a team. They are pretty good at the Jungle."
Castleford 19-man squad: Owen, Dixon, Shenton, Evans, Wainwright, Chase, Sherwin, Sargent, Hudson, Huby, Ferres, Clayton, Westerman, Jones, Higgins, Feather, Boyle, McGoldrick, Widders
Wigan 19-man squad: Amos Roberts, George Carmont, Pat Richards, Thomas Leuluai, Stuart Fielden, Mark Riddell, Iafeta Paleaaesina, Sean O'Loughlin, Joel Tomkins, Andy Coley, Harrison Hansen, Michael McIlorum, Paul Prescott, Karl Pryce, Cameron Phelps, Martin Gleeson, Lee Mossop, Sam Tomkins, Mark Flanagan.
