Peacock: Back for Rhinos
Jamie Peacock will make his Leeds Rhinos return for the champions' first home game of the Super League season against Castleford Tigers on Friday.
The England captain was rested, together with full-back Brent Webb, for last week's opener at Crusaders but coach Brian McClennan has confirmed that both will make their first appearances of 2010 at Headingley.
Utility forward Ian Kirke is the man to make way from the side that won 34-6 in Wrexham, while World Cup winner Greg Eastwood will make his home debut.
"The return of Peacock and Webb gives them a little bit more strength but the 17 they put out last week was pretty handy," assessed Castleford coach Terry Matterson.
Meanwhile, Matterson could hand a Super League debut to young forward John Davies after Ryan Clayton suffered an arm injury in training.
"Ryan is very unlucky," Matterson said. "He has had a very solid off season and was going well. He himself is gutted but he should be back in a couple of weeks.
"But I have no qualms about bringing John Davies into the squad. At the start of our off-season training we wouldn't have thought that he would be ready but he has done well in the trial games and done some good work in training."
Leeds squad: Webb, Donald, Delaney, Senior, Hall, Mcguire, Burrow, Leuluai, Buderus, Peacock, Jones Buchanan, Lauiititi, Sinfield, Diskin, Eastwood, Bailey, Ablett, Burgess, Watkins.
Castleford squad: Owen, Shenton, Evans, Wainwright, Chase, Sherwin, Sargent, Hudson, Huby, Ferres, Snitch, Westerman, Jones, Higgins, Jackson, Netherton, Davies, McGoldrick, Widders.
