Phelps: Back for Wigan
Wigan full-back Cameron Phelps has been named in the 19-man squad to host Hull FC on Friday after recovering from an ankle injury.
Phelps, who has been sidelined for the Warriors' last three games, replaces George Carmont for the DW Stadium clash after the centre sustained a knee laceration and hip injury at the Grattan Odsal Stadium.
The addition of Phelps for centre Carmont is the only change made by head coach Michael Maguire to the squad that lost 22-20 at Bradford last Friday.
Wigan boss Michael Maguire knows his side will be facing tough opposition in Hull, who have also only been beaten once in five outings.
"They're very strong across the park," the Australian admitted.
"The two packs are definitely going to be at each other and there are a lot of expansive players among the backs in both teams."
Meanwhile, Hull FC coach Richard Agar has made two changes to the line-up that triumphed 42-22 at home to Castleford last week.
Captain Sean Long makes his much-anticipated comeback to the squad after recovering from a hamstring problem. The scrum-half has not played since the victory over Huddersfield Giants in the second game of the season.
The other change sees Tongan prop forward Sam Moa named in the squad after he was called in as a replacement last week for Lee Radford, who withdrew due to illness.
His display in that match earned him a spot in Agar's 19-man party, while Danny Washbrook and Mark Calderwood miss out on selection.
Wigan squad: Phelps, Roberts, Gleeson, Richards, S. Tomkins, Leuluai, Fielden, Riddell, Coley, Hansen, J. Tomkins, O'Loughlin, Prescott, Bailey, Paleaaesina, Deacon, O'Carroll, Mossop, Goulding.
Hull FC squad: Berrigan, T Briscoe, Cusack, Dowes, Fitzgibbon, Hall, Horne, Houghton, Lauaki, Long, Manu, Moa, O'Meley, Radford, Tansey, Tickle, Turner, Whiting, Yeaman.
