Littler: farewell appearance
Salford (13) v Wakefield (11)
Veteran Reds back Stuart Littler will lead Salford out on his farewell appearance, as the Reds play host to fellow-strugglers Wakefield at The Willows.
Former St Helens centre Willie Talau will also take his bow before his retirement from the game.
But hooker Malcolm Alker and full-back Karl Fitzpatrick both miss out on making farewell appearances for Salford due to injury.
If Catalans beat Huddersfield on Saturday, the Reds will be playing to avoid the Wooden Spoon.
Wakefield will be without prop Charlie Leano, who has a knee injury, winger or second-rower Danny Kirmond, who has returned from his loan spell to Huddersfield, and second-rower Paul Johnson, who has a hamstring injury.
But full-back Matt Blaymire is back after a three-match absence.
Salford-bound hooker Tevita Leo-Latu will play his last game for the Wildcats, while skipper Jason Demetriou is another man making his farewell appearance.
