Matty Smith: set for his 100th Super League appearance at the Halliwell Jones Stadium
Lee Briers: left out of the home side's 19-man squad for the weekend
Warrington are missing Lee Briers, Adrian Morley and Michael Monaghan for Sunday's Stobart Super League clash with Salford.
Prop Morley and hooker Monaghan are both still sidelined for the Wolves while half-back Briers has been left out of coach Tony Smith's 19-man squad.
There are, however, places for winger Rhys Williams and Ben Currie, a 17-year-old second rower who has already featured in the first team this season against Widnes and Keighley.
Warrington reached the quarter-finals of the Carnegie Challenge Cup last weekend with a win over Bradford and Smith is hoping to see his side can continue to take strides forward.
"Last weekend and recent weeks have seen us become a little bit more consistent in some of the areas we've been working on, and this is having an effect on the overall performance of the team," he told the club's website.
"The players are working hard and they are committed to making improvements and that is starting to show on the pitch.
"Salford have some terrific attack this season and really challenge you if you're not on top of your own game. They can certainly punish you, and if areas of your defence aren't great they can make you pay.
"They have been playing a bit more expansive than they have done in the past which makes for attractive Rugby League but also sets up a good challenge for each and every team that goes up against them."
Salford are again without experienced forwards Shannon McPherson and Vinnie Anderson for the short trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Coach Phil Veivers recalls props Ryan Boyle and Adam Neal to boost his options in the pack following their cup exit at the hands of Leeds last weekend.
He also has a choice to make in the backs, with utility back Josh Veivers and winger Danny Williams vying to replace the sidelined Sean Gleeson.
The match will also see Matty Smith bring up a milestone - the former St Helens half-back is set to make his 100th Super League appearance.
