West Yorkshire rivals Castleford and Wakefield meet on Saturday in the Magic Weekend curtain raiser at Etihad Stadium.

The 1pm kick-off is the first start of seven matches being held at the home of Premier League champions Manchester City over the course of Saturday and Sunday.

The 11th-placed Tigers, who lost 70-12 to Hull KR last Sunday, welcome back skipper Danny Orr and reigning Man of Steel Rangi Chase after both players completed three-game suspensions.

Rhys Williams is also included in the squad after the winger joined on a one-month loan deal from Warrington during the week, while prop Paul Jackson will make his first appearance of the season.

Josh Griffin, Ryan Brierley and Daryl Clark, who is sidelined by a knee injury, are the men to make way.

"Having Rangi back will be massive for us. He's been out for six weeks with all the breaks," said Castleford coach Ian Millward.

"I think having Danny back as well will make a big difference and we're going to bring Jacko in, plus Rhys Williams. That gives us a bit more freshness."

Big stage

Wakefield, who are one place and two points below their local rivals in the table, recall prop Matt James after a one-game ban in place of Paul Johnson.

Vice captain Danny Kirmond is expected to play despite the abductor strain that ruled him out of last Sunday's 42-12 defeat against Warrington.

Wildcats coach Richard Agar admits the return of Tigers playmaker Chase adds to the size of his team's task.

"They are going to be a different team with him in there," said Agar.

"It is the Magic Weekend, it's a big stage and a big stadium and he's going to want to come back firing."

Castleford squad: Owen, Youngquest, Dixon, Chase, Orr, Emmitt, Huby, Ferres, Walker, Jones, Milner, Hudson, Mitchell, Jackson, Millington, Holmes, Massey, Thompson, Williams

Wakefield squad: Mathers, Fox, Collis, Mellars, Cockayne, John, Wood, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Southern, Washbrook, Aiton, Amor, Mariano, Kirmond, James, Smith, Trout, Sykes
