Bulls v Wildcats: Teams
at Odsal Stadium, Sunday June 24, KO 3pm
Bradford have half-back Jarrod Sammut back from a two-month absence with a knee injury for the visit of Wakefield on Sunday.
He may come in for former Wakefield stand-off Ben Jeffries, who is struggling with a back spasm.
Bulls loose forward Jamie Langley has recovered from an Achilles tendon injury and full-back Brett Kearney has shaken off a hamstring problem. They help offset the loss of second rower Ian Sibbit with a broken arm.
Bradford have had two weeks to dwell on that 54-0 hammering by St Helens in their last outing and coach Mick Potter told the club's website: "It's allowed us to work on some things we were very poor at against St Helens. We had a lot of work to do defensively.
"Saints were good on the night but we were poor. Defensively we have had a big week and we'd like to make amends for that. (Wakefield) took Leeds to the wire, scoring over forty points, so we need to stop that.
"It would have been nice to back up the next week and show we are a bit better than what we showed at Saint,s but we have had to wait a couple of weeks and it's good that it's at Odsal. It's a pretty important game for us."
Wakefield are boosted by the return of new captain Danny Kirmond, who has missed the last two games with a fractured cheekbone and eye socket.
He takes the place of Lucas Walshaw, who has been ill this week, in the only change to the side that lost 44-40 at Leeds on Monday.
Bradford squad: Ainscough, O'Brien, Lulia, Whitehead, Sammut, Burgess, Jeffries, Addy, Hargreaves, Olbison, L'Estrange, Pryce, Platt, Bateman, Gale, Langley, Kearney, Elima, Manuokafoa.
Wakefield squad: Mathers, Fox, Collis, Mellars, Cockayne, John, Wood, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Southern, Washbrook, Aiton, Amor, Kirmond, Mariano, Trout, Smith, Wildie, Sykes
