Hull coach Peter Gentle has made one change to the squad for Sunday's Stobart Super League game at home to Catalans.

Centre Ben Crooks celebrates a new long-term contract with a return to the side following routine knee surgery.

He comes in for the suspended Joe Westerman and helps ease the growing injury list, while hooker Danny Houghton and centre Jordan Turner are set to return after missing the defeat at Wigan.

However, several players are carrying niggles and must pass late fitness tests to seal their place in the match-day squad.

"We're definitely doing it tough at the minute and there is no real end in sight at present, but I can't fault the spirit and commitment of the boys," Gentle told Hullfc.tv.

"We're faced with fitness tests for seven players ahead of a final team run, but it's a credit to all the players as they're all putting their hands up and insisting they're fit enough to play which is great to see."

Dragons coach Trent Robinson can welcome full-back Clint Greenshields back after a month's injury absence.

The Australian returns in place of Cyril Stacul while second row pair Setaimata Sa and Louis Anderson also return from injury.

However, prop Lopini Paea misses only his second Super League match of the season.

Hull squad: Aspinwall, T. Briscoe, Crooks, Foster, Green, Houghton, Heremaia, Lineham, Lynch, Manu, Nicklas, O'Meley, Pitts, Seymour, McGoldrick, Turner, Watts, Whiting, Yeaman.

Catalan Dragons squad: Greenshields, Blanch, Pryce, Sa, Dureau, Ferriol, Henderson, Casty, Anderson, Mounis, Raguin, Pelissier, Millard, Fakir, Baitieri, Duport, Barthau, Cardace, Larroyer.
