Weller Hauraki: former Rhino available for Castleford following suspension
Michael Dobson: doubtful to feature on Sunday due to a hamstring strain
Castleford Tigers will be hoping for a better outcome from their trip to East Yorkshire when they do battle with Hull KR on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.
The Tigers have already made the trip east along the M62 this season, although Ian Millward's men came back from their game against Hull FC on the end of a 52-0 loss.
Castleford have only one win to their name this term while Craig Sandercock's men occupy the final play-off spot in eighth with six points from seven league games.
Hull KR have doubts over half-backs Michael Dobson, who picked up a hamstring strain in last week's defeat at Bradford, and Travis Burns, who has a back problem.
Versatile Craig Hall is ready to step in to plug one of the gaps. Jordan Cox and Rich Beaumont are vying to take over Adam Walker's spot on the bench.
"You have to play an 80-minute game against any team in this competition, it doesn't matter whether it's Castleford or Leeds," Hull KR prop Mickey Paea told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Castleford beat Leeds a few weeks ago, so they have shown they can do it on their day. We know we can compete with anyone also, and we have shown that in the past, but consistency is the big thing.
"There are no easy games, it's just a matter of being consistent week in and week out if you want to compete with the top teams and be there at the end of the year."
Castleford are boosted by the return from suspension of second rower Weller Hauraki, who takes the place of last week's debutant Dan Fleming.
Millward is hoping experienced prop Keith Mason will be back from injury but winger Justin Carney remains suspended.
"It's a tough place to go and they're all hard games, but I'm confident we can get back to doing what we were doing well and I can't fault the effort of the players in training," Millward told the Pontefract and Castleford Express.
"We've said that we wanted to be competitive for 80 minutes and give our best effort for the whole game. Unfortunately we only provided that for 40 last week. It was disappointing because we put ourselves in a position to win the game and we gave it up in the second half.
"We had played so well in our previous home games and I feel like they took it for granted a bit that it would come naturally. But you've got to work hard for that to come and there was some real lessons to be learned in the second half."
