Castleford Tigers will be looking to build upon their fine win at Bradford to open the campaign when the Catalan Dragons visit the Mend A Hose Jungle.
The Tigers failed to beat the Dragons in last season's meetings. They shared the spoils in a 17-all draw in West Yorkshire with Catalan claiming a 39-30 win on home soil.
Castleford started their season on a winning note with an impressive 36-18 triumph over Bradford while Catalan's comeback against Hull FC fell just short as they went down 36-34.
Castleford coach Daryl Powell makes one enforced change to the team that won at Bradford, with Jordan Tansey returning at full-back in place of Luke Dorn, who has failed to recover from a groin injury sustained against the Bulls.
"Catalan are a good side, but we've got to believe that we've got what you need to get the job done," he told the Pontefract and Castleford Express.
"We face a severe challenge from Catalan. They will be disappointed they didn't get the result last week so we've got some work to do to make sure we nullify the significant threat that they've got."
The Dragons are without forward Olivier Elima, who begins a four-match ban, and scrum-half Thomas Bosc, who was injured in the defeat at Hull.
Scott Dureau is recalled in place of Bosc and Julian Bousquet and Antoni Maria are vying to take Elima's place. Former Leeds full-back Brent Webb has also been recalled to the 19-man squad.
Castleford Tigers: Tansey, Dixon, Shenton, Carney, Sneyd, Lynch, Milner, Huby, Millington, Hauraki, Clark, Holmes, Mariano, Wheeldon, Ellis, Owen, Channing, Fleming, Finn.
Catalan Dragons: Webb, Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Dureau, Henderson, Lima, Taia, Mounis, Maria, Pelissier, Whitehead, Millard, Bousquet, Fakir, Paea, Baitieri, Cardace.
