London Broncos host Warrington Wolves at The Hive on Sunday looking to post their first win of this year's Super League campaign.

The Londoners suffered heavy opening defeats to Widnes and Salford before an improved performance in going down 25-12 to Bradford last time.

Opponents Warrington go into this game on a high after securing their first win this term with a narrow 18-16 success over Hull, which followed defeats to St Helens and Leeds.

The Wolves will also be confident after posting a record away league score when winning 82-10 against the Broncos last season, which followed an earlier 54-20 home win.

Warrington boss Tony Smith told the club's official website: "London are a bit of an unknown quantity to some degree.

"They haven't had much time to put a squad together but they've managed to do that and to come up with a credible performance on the weekend.

"They are going to be a difficult team for us and a challenging team. We don't know much about some of their individuals but we'll do our homework over the next few days and get prepared."

Team news

Former Melbourne outside back Denny Solomona, who is due to fly into London on Saturday morning, has been included in the Broncos' provisional squad, along with Iliess Macani, who will be vying with him to replace injured full-back Nesiasi Mataitonga.

New Zealand three-quarter Solomona was signed at the beginning of the year but has been waiting for his visa application to be processed and is desperate to be involved, earning his inclusion by Broncos head coach Tony Rea.

Rea told the club's official website: "He's been champing at the bit for a long time. He wanted to be playing with the boys and we've responded to that.

"We'll check him out tomorrow in the run and see how he is, but it's fantastic that he wants to be out on The Hive playing."

London are missing James Duckworth (hamstring), James Greenwood (knee), Will Lovell (ankle), James Woodburn-Hall (dead leg) and Joel Wicks (hamstring).

But the club expect Mason Caton-Brown and skipper Matt Cook to recover from heavy knocks they took in the defeat at Bradford.

Mikey Bishay, who didn't make the 17 last time, is again included for consideration at half-back.

For Warrington, full-back Matthew Russell is set to make his debut after he completed his rehabilitation from an ankle injury sustained in pre-season training.

Forward Glenn Riley has also recovered from a knee injury to take the place of Anthony England.

Paul Wood, Simon Grix and Ben Harrison remain sidelined.

London squad: Atkins, Bishay, Caton-Brown, Cook, Cunningham, Drinkwater, Farrar, Forster, Foster, Griffin, Krasniqi, Macani, McMeeken, Minns, Moore, O'Callaghan, Slyney, Solomona, Wallace

Wolves squad: Asotasi, Atkins, Bridge, Currie, B Evans, R Evans, Higham, Hill, Laithwaite, J Monaghan, M Monaghan, Myler, O'Brien, Ormsby, Ratchford, Riley, Russell, Waterhouse, Westwood
