High-flying Castleford will be aiming to keep up the winning momentum when they travel to the AJ Bell Stadium to take on Salford.

The Tigers have won their opening five games of the Super League season and they cross the M62 looking to make it six in a row and keep the pressure on joint-leaders St Helens.

The Red Devils are down in 10th position and come into the game on the back of a 28-12 home defeat against Warrington Wolves.

Big-spending Salford are boosted by the return of former Castleford favourite Rangi Chase, who tore a calf muscle in the opening game of the season.

Winger Francis Meli also returns in place of Wigan winger Dom Manfredi, who scored two tries on his loan debut against Warrington but misses out with a shoulder injury.

Martin Gleeson is restored to centre in place of Jason Walton, who is sidelined by injury.

Stand-off Marc Sneyd, who joined Castleford on a season-long loan deal as part of the Chase transfer, will line up opposite his replacement in a Tigers side that shows just one change from the team that beat Hull, with Luke Dorn replacing the suspended Jordan Tansey at full-back.

Salford Red Devils: Ashurst, Dixon, Fages, Sa'u, Hansen, A. Walne, Gleeson, Chase, Johnson, Lee, Puletua, Morley, Mullaney, McPherson, J. Walne, Smith, Tasi, Howarth, Meli.

Castleford Tigers: Shenton, Webster, Carney, Dorn, Sneyd, Lynch, Milner, Huby, Millington, Hauraki, Massey, Clark, Holmes, Mariano, Ellis, Owen, Channing, Fleming, Finn.
