Warrington Wolves head into Friday's Super League clash against Catalan Dragons at the Halliwell Jones Stadium level on 10 points with their French counterparts.

While the Wolves suffered a 34-28 defeat to Bradford Bulls last Sunday the Dragons continued their upward momentum with a 37-24 triumph over Marwan Koukash's Salford Red Devils.

Wolves' only win in their last three league games was an emphatic 44-6 success over Widnes Vikings at home and they will be hoping for a repeat of last season's 24-16 victory over the Dragons at home.

Catalan have not travelled well so far in 2014 with their only away success coming in a 28-22 beating of struggling London Broncos last month.

Warrington head coach Tony Smith has made two changes to his 19-man squad for the visit of the men from Perpignan in the south of France.

Injury boost

Playmaker Stefan Ratchford returns after missing two games with a calf strain. Winger Gene Ormsby also comes in, with Kevin Penny and Glenn Riley missing out.

Ben Westwood, Simon Grix, Richie Myler and Paul Wood remain on the sidelines with injury and have been joined by Penny, who has medial knee ligament damage and is facing eight weeks out.

Dragons tactician Laurent Frayssinous has made the one change to his squad with Jeff Lima, who has recovered from injury, coming in for Olivier Elima.

The visitors remain without Scott Dureau, Brent Webb, Ian Henderson, Thomas Bosc, Greg Mounis and Elliott Whitehead through injury.

Warrington Wolves: Asotasi, Atkins, C. Bridge, D. Bridge, Currie, England, B. Evans, R. Evans, Harrison, Higham, Hill, Laithwaite, J. Monaghan, M. Monaghan, O'Brien, Ormsby, Ratchford, Russell, Waterhouse.

Catalan Dragons: Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Lima, Taia, Anderson, Barthau, Maria, Pelissier, Millard, Pala, Simon, Bousquet, Paea, Baitieri, Duport, Garcia, Guasch.

Don't miss any of the action from the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night as Warrrington host Catalan Dragons on Sky Sports 2HD from 7.30pm
