London Broncos begin the Joe Grima era on Saturday with a clash against in-form Huddersfield Giants at the Hive Stadium.

Australian Grima has replaced Tony Rea for the remainder of the campaign with the capital club currently rock bottom of Super League with 11 rounds played without any victories.

The Giants have endured a stop-start season so far, but three straight league triumphs, including a 29-28 success over Castleford Tigers last time out, means they are a team on the up.

Huddersfield did the double over the Londoners last season, following up their 34-6 win over the Broncos at home in round two with a 26-12 success in the capital in August.

For this year's first meeting the Broncos welcome back hooker Scott Moore from suspension. His one-game ban meant he missed out on facing former club St Helens in last Thursday's 48-18 loss at Langtree Park. He's back now, however, and available to face another former club, the Giants.

George Griffin and new French prop Maxime Herold are included while Denny Solomona has been passed fit after being injured following a collision with an advertising hoarding at Saints.

The trio come into the squad in place of Mike McMeeken, Joel Wicks and James Woodburn-Hall.

Similar squad

"It's pretty much the squad we took to St Helens. Scott Moore is back after serving his one-match suspension and Denny Solomona has trained this week and looks good to go," Grima told the club's official website.

Huddersfield have made just the one change to their 19-man squad that toppled the Tigers on Sunday, Jake Connor replacing Scott Grix.

The Giants suffered a surprise defeat against the then winless Catalan Dragons earlier in the campaign and Anderson is eager to avoid handing London their first success.

"The people at London will obviously be hoping there's a positive reaction to what's happened this week," he told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner. "They'll be looking for a reaction from the players.

"Their new coach has the opportunity to make a mark straight away and do whatever he can to start with a win. It's up to us to take all this emotion out of the game and prepare the best we can to meet the challenge we face.

"When we went to Catalan earlier in the year, they'd lost their opening five games and were under some pressure. But we gave them their first win, so I'm damned if we're going to do the same for London."

London Broncos: Atkins, Bishay, Caton-Brown, Cook, Cunningham, Drinkwater, Farrar, Foster, Greenwood, Griffin, Herold, Krasniqi, Macani, Minns, Moore, Slyney, Solomona, Vea, Wallace.

Huddersfield Giants: McGillvary, Cudjoe, Wardle, Murphy, Brough, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Kopczak, Chan, Bailey, Lawrence, Patrick, Faiumu, Ta'ai, Wood, Broughton, Mullally, Connor.
