Full-back Luke Dorn returns to action after a six-week absence as Castleford entertain depleted Widnes on Sunday.

Dorn has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, but has seen his team win three times in their last five games and they also have hooker Adam Milner back in contention after sitting out the win over Wakefield.

Prop Lee Jewitt, who has been the subject of some very positive comments by coach Daryl Powell since his recent arrival from Limoux, is set to make his home debut.

Widnes coach Denis Betts has called up scrum-half Tom Gilmore and hooker Grant Gore in place of the injured Danny Craven and Jon Clarke.

Centre Cameron Phelps is also set to replace Chris Dean, after recovering from an elbow problem.

Betts has called up Matt Whitley and Ed Chamberlain from the club's Under 19 team, but prop Phil Joseph is also on the casualty list.

The last time Widnes recorded a win at Castleford was just over seven years ago, when both clubs were in National League One.

If the Vikings are to end that drought then stand-off Kevin Brown looks sure to have a large part to play.

The former Wigan and Huddersfield star has already touched down on 10 occasions in 2014 and was in superb form in the win over Salford at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday.

If the Tigers can stifle his excellent handling and kicking game then they will go a long way towards maintaining their current third place in the Super League table.

Tigers: Tansey, Dixon, Shenton, Webster, Carney, Dorn, Sneyd, Lynch, Milner, Huby, Millington, Hauraki, Clark, Holmes, Mariano, Wheeldon, Ellis, Finn, Jewitt

Vikings: Allen, Brown, Chamberlain, Clough, Flynn, Gerrard, Gilmore, Gore, Hanbury, Isa, Johnson, Kavanagh, Leuluai, Marsh, Owens, Phelps, Tickle, White, Whitley
