Wakefield Wildcats will aim to buck a run of five successive Super League defeats when they travel to the KC Stadium to face Hull FC on Sunday afternoon.

Richard Agar's side will be eager to arrest the slide which has seen them fall to 12th in the Super League table, having won just two of their opening 10 fixtures.

The Black and Whites, meanwhile, are sitting comfortably in sixth having won and lost in equal measure over the same period, with three of their wins coming in their last four outings.

Hull coach Lee Radford welcomes four players back from injury for the visit of Wakefield, whom they have beaten only twice in their last five meetings.

Winger Jason Crookes comes into the side for the first time this season after recovering from a shoulder injury in pre-season, replacing Liam Colbon.

Dean Hadley and Josh Bowden are both back in contention after being rested for the second game of the Easter weekend due to slight knocks, while Chris Tuson returns after missing the last two matches.

"Everybody is aware that selection for this game was going to be difficult because everybody is pretty much available," Radford told the club's official website.

"It feels like a long time since we played and I can't wait for Sunday to come around now.

"Defensively we are conceding 16 points a game, I would like us to bring that down slightly but we're the third best team in the competition. We want the football and want to be down the other end."

Jacob Fairbank looks set to earn an immediate Wildcats debut following his arrival on loan from Huddersfield Giants on Thursday.

He is one of four changes from the initial 19-man squad named to face the Giants on Easter Monday, with captain Danny Kirmond returning along with Pita Godinet who was drafted in late last time out and 16-year old Max Jowitt is also named in the squad.

The visitors continue to be without Dean Collis, Reece Lyne and Ali Lauitiiti through injury.

"We've been in a little bit of a period where we've picked some injuries up and we've got some guys who are getting back to match fitness," Wildcats coach Agar, who will be facing his former club, told their official website.

"We felt that bringing Jacob Fairbank in will boost our ranks in the middle of the field, initially for a month.

"He's got a terrific engine and a really good tradesman so we think he'll boost our squad and cover one or two issues we've got with injuries and fitness."

Hull FC squad: Bowden, Carvell, Crookes, Crooks, Ellis, Hadley, Heremaia, Houghton, Miller, Paea, Paleaaesina, Rankin, Shaul, Talanoa, Thompson, Tuson, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.

Wildcats squad: Mathers, Fairbank, Riley, Walshaw, Sykes, Godinet, Anderson, McShane, Jowitt, Kirmond, Washbrook, Ryan, Annakin, Smith, Moore, Siejka, Sammut, Scruton, Molloy.
