Hull will be aiming to make it three wins from three home games as they welcome Widnes to the KC Stadium on Sunday.

The Black and Whites have lost all three of their away matches, including last weekend's 19-16 defeat at Castleford, but victories over Catalan Dragons and Bradford on home soil mean they will go into Sunday's clash with cause for optimism.

The visitors have lost just once this season, a heavy defeat away at Leeds in their last outing, winning their other three to sit fifth in the Super League table.

Hull have made three changes to their squad for the match as the front row injury problems continue to grow, Josh Bowden the latest prop to be ruled out having picked up an ankle injury in the loss at the Tigers.

He joins Garreth Carvell, Chris Green and Bobby Tyson-Wilson in the treatment room, with Tongan international Mickey Paea missing through suspension.

That means a place for Feka Paleaaesina in the Lee Radford's squad, alongside young forwards Liam Kent and Dean Hadley.

The Vikings, meanwhile, have called up half-back Danny Craven to replace the injured Joe Mellor and Phil Joseph comes in for fellow prop Paul Clough.

Dennis Betts has also brought in Patrick Ah Van and Stefan Marsh whilst Danny Tickle is in line to face his former club provided he recovers from a dead leg in time.

Hull FC: Arundel, Colbon, Crooks, Ellis, Hadley, Heremaia, Horne, Houghton, Kent, Paleaaesina, Rankin, Shaul, Talanoa, Thompson, Tuson, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.

Widnes Vikings: Ah Van, Brown, Clarke, Craven, Dean, Flynn, Galea, Gerrard, Gilmore, Hanbury, Isa, Johnson, Joseph, Kavanagh, Leuluai, Phelps, Marsh, Tickle, White.
