Hull KR head coach Justin Morgan has spoken of his disappointment with his side's performance in their 24-24 draw against Huddersfield Giants on Sunday.

Morgan described the result as 'a point lost' and said that poor decisions and needless errors were to blame.

"I would definitely say this was a point lost," he said. "We were our own worst enemy at times.

"We were controlling the game but silly moments let them back into it.

"I think with five or six minutes to go we maybe could have pushed up a little more. We made plenty of line breaks but poor decision-making cost us."

Exceptional

In contrast his opposite number Jon Sharp was pleased with Huddersfield's efforts, singling out Ryan Hudson, who he said had a 'brilliant show' and Rod Jensen.

He said: "We were not great but we got a point away from home and that is not something this side has done a great deal of over the years."

"He (Jensen) was not at his best as he was carrying some bumps and bruises but he is still a winner."

Sharp also heaped praise on youngster Michael Lawrence adding: "For a 17-year-old playing his second game of the season to come to Craven Park and handle it was exceptional."
