Danny Brough: inspirational display
Head coach Nathan Brown praised Danny Brough after the stand-off guided Huddersfield Giants to a 30-16 win over London Broncos in the capital.
Brough scored a length-of-the-field try, conjured up two others and booted 10 points to guide the visitors to a hard-fought triumph.
Brown said: "If Danny had been playing for the opposition there is no doubt we would have lost that game today.
"Sometimes you need that bit of individual brilliance to get you over the line and Danny gave us that today.
"There are going to be games like this and it is that extra talent that gets you the win.
"We were not at our best today but we came here to get the win and we got the win."
It was London's fourth defeat from four this season but coach Rob Powell added: "I though physically we were the stronger team, but we lacked that bit of polish.
"When you have yet to win a game confidence can be lacking and I thought we tried to force things a bit too much today.
"We had three tries disallowed, and rightly so, but that shows how close this game was.
"I thought at times our play was a bit erratic and that let us down. If we keep performing like we did today the wins will come, but we will have to start all over again next week."
