Wigan coach Shaun Wane felt his team let themselves down in the second-half of their 36-6 victory over Bradford at Odsal.

Liam Farrell scored a first-half hat-trick to help the Warriors establish an unassailable 30-0 lead, and Sam Tomkins extended it with his 14th try of the season within 90 seconds of the re-start.

But the Super League leaders were scoreless for the last 38 minutes and Wane said that took the gloss off a fifth straight win.

"I was really impressed by some of the tries we scored in the first half he said," Wane said. "I thought our energy was spot on.

"But we were not consistent enough for me. The second half was awful, although the pitch was very sandy and the players said they were fatigued.

"Six-apiece in the second half has taken bit of the joy away for me. We're not playing the way I want yet. If we had been ruthless in the second half, we would have been close."

Bradford coach Francis Cummins tried to take positives from the result, and urged his charges to look forward.

"I'm not too disheartened. Wigan will do this against other teams. I've told the boys we've just got to start again. We will be better for it."
