Super League: Huddersfield's Stuart Fielden has suffered a knee infection
Huddersfield prop Stuart Fielden is expected to be out of action for several weeks because of a knee infection.
The 33-year-old underwent minor knee surgery a week ago and had to sit out last Sunday's Challenge Cup win at Batley.
Fielden had hoped to be back for Saturday's Super League clash with Catalan Dragons in Perpignan, but he has instead returned to hospital after picking up an infection.
Huddersfield coach Paul Anderson said: "Stu has needed the knee clear-out for a few weeks now.
"He had the surgery last week, which went well until he picked up the infection.
"He's now back in hospital trying to get that sorted and, until that's done, we won't know how long he'll be out."
