Did you know? When given a chance to prove his fitness ahead of the Test against England in June 2006, Cordingley did it the hard way. He left the Australian Sydney base at 7am, hopped on a plane to Brisbane, grabbed his gear, played 40 minutes for the Brothers club, grabbed a tape of his display, and hopped on a flight back to Sydney, presenting the tape to John Connolly on his arrival. He made the team - his first Test in nearly six years at the time.
