Strengths: A menace with the ball in hand, Rossouw can play lock, flank or at number eight and is extremely difficult to tackle, making him one of the most feared ball-carriers. Rossouw might not have the all-round skills of Skinstad, nor the pace of Spies, but he outweighs and outmuscles them in the physical side of things. He has also developed into a quality line-out option.
Weaknesses: Tends to lose the ball in the tackle after bulldozing his way through his opposition.
