Strengths: "Monty" is not South Africa's leading points scorer for nothing. The whole country relies on his accurate place-kicking that has improved dramatically over the years. Montgomery's wealth of experience is vital to guide a young Springbok backline when the going gets tough. His positional play is spot on and can still punt the life out of a rugby ball.
Weaknesses: Montgomery has never been known for his defensive efforts and has been responsible for letting through many tries in his career. His age shows in his speed, which has certainly lessened. Did we mention he can't tackle to save his life?
